have been cleaning , lubing and pulling things of for powder coating and found this the cushion peice has come out and started chewing the ecenteric hub ,

speaking of SSS....I know some s2r guys powdercoat theres...and the s4rs guys had theirs in black as stock (that's right isnt it)....
do SSS ever get chips if powdercoated? on the bottom....?
thanks for the heads up....I'll get Brad to check mine when I'm in (about a month away)

FYI Spider, I got mine Painted, The guy who painted used Jotun Industrial paint, so it's not ultra smooth, but it is a very tough paint, I then got some Carbon Fiber printed Vinyl and covered a section that cops the rocks and debris. here's a pic. I have heard of the Cush drives backing out, that's why I keep a close eye on mine.

the cush drives backing out has been an issue since the 916 days unfortunately. i fitted a AFAM quick change sprocket carrier which has tabs on the back to stop the problem.

the cush drives backing out has been an issue since the 916 days unfortunately. probably hundreds of warranty claims generated by it and they never changed them. you really wonder some times. altho tamburini fixed it on his next effort.

In the words of the Oxley moron, "please explain?" look at the inside of your sprocket and make sure all the cush rubbers are flush with the sprocket if they are starting to back out youll see ill post some more pix tomorrow showing what too look for cheers bazz , brad have you seen this much with the late monsters our dealer recons they have never seen it happen cheers bazz

this photo shows what your looking for techno all the cushion drives are flush with the back of sprocket except the the one with red arrow it has back backed out , hope this helps
