I've got a steering damper that's got a bad seal. I was told that they are not rebuild-able? Does ANYONE have any insight to this? The damn thing is not cheap I find it hard to believe you cannot rebuild them. Any help would be great.

What I don't need to hear is how other brands are better blah blah blah. Just some help please.

Perhaps it cannot be rebuilt by you.  Some of the higher spec dampers are gas charged much like a shock.  As such, someone like me can't be build one since there's no way with my basic tools to do it right.

As suggested, give them a call and see if the have a service dept for items like this.
