For work, I have a cardkey that gets me into the building. It's attached to my pants with a self-winding card holder clip thingy. One day, I forgot to put the cardkey in my pocket after work. I just let the cardkey hang from my pocket. By the time I got home, all I have left was the clip. DOH!

dropped a small Canon elph, but that's not what was lost. It was all the great pics we took from our Adirondak Adventure, 3 days of riding bliss. the pics are lost, but the memories remain. took 2 trip back the road and could not find it, its like looking for needles. hopelessly lost.
lesson, when you're tired from a long day of riding, double check everything!

At most trackdays I attend someone in front of me loses something.
One rider dropped his cell phone. It bounced around for a awhile. Why would you bring your cell phone on the track?
Frame slider puck. That one was interesting. It bounced around like a wacky rubber ball, all over the place.
I once lost a Fedex tube. Didn't realize it until I got to the Fedex store. Went back and there it was in the middle of the street.

Geez, I was mad when I lost my ear plug case the other day on the freeway. Not nearly as bad as most of the stuff you guys have lost.

My Mind.
I've lost the front end, leading to a lowside.
Of objects I've lost: My glasses, I had my prescription sunglasses on, and my regular glasses, in their case, popped out of my jacket pocket. I found them but the lenses were scratched.
Recently I lost my Fun Weasel that was tied to my helmet, it's somewhere near Castle Rock, WA.

Lost my entire tail light assembly after my first home made tail chop attempt failed.
Lost the two screws that hold the throttle together. Found out when I went to accelerate and nothing happened. Never found the screws or the housing.
Had a friend come pick me up and load the bike into the back of his truck...

Rear cowl, thumb screws came loose.
News paper tucked into the top of my tank bag, covered the highway in individual pages.

Can't think of anything, but I saw a guy once who had written on the back of his TShirt:

I lost my wallet somewhere in VA on our trip to NC last summer.
Must have left on the top of the hard case or it fell out of my pocket.
Got a call from my credit card company to call the state cops in VA. Someone had found it and turned it in.
I had shipped ahead to JM's, our next stop.
Everthing was still there; including the cash.
Definately had been hit by a vehicle.

Lost one of the cowl thumb screws, luckily not both. had to have a license plate replaced when my first tailchop failed. The whole assembly was hanging by the wires and somehow only the plate got messed up. Lost some brand new jeans when I was moving the bike from my parents house to my house 1/4 mile up the road and the slick new tire decided to spin me around 180 degrees and then catch throwing me from the bike.

Gerber Paraframe folding knife. Used to clip it into the watch pocket of my jeans, but apparently the Monster riding position causes the knife to push up out of the pocket. I don't do that anymore. Some lucky pedestrian is now the proud owner.

My condo building requires a card reader ($50 a pop to replace it). When I ride, I keep that with my driver's
license, credit/debit card (only one), insurance card, registration and some cash in a ziplock in my (outside)
jacket pocket.
Got home after a ride through the canyons, pull up to the garage and find my pocket wide open. And empty.
This was in October about a year and a half ago.
Flash forward to the next riding season and I do it AGAIN! Only the worst part is that I had to fly out the
next day for work. I dig for my passport so I can at least board the plane and find that it's 10 DAYS from
expiring! Major "whew!" But NO driver's license. For the rental car.
Worst part? Looking like a complete 'tard getting out of a taxi at my customers.
I try, really I do, to remember to put that stuff in the INSIDE pocket and not all together and to check my zippers before I take off. So far this year I've succeeded but then I've only ridden a few times.
