As the topic states I am on the fence when it comes to running a front fender on my bike.  I have been running without a fender for the past season and besides a random rock here and their I can live with it. I feel having the front wheel exposed goes with the whole industrial/hooligan look these bikes have going for them. Then I got caught in the rain which lead me to re-install the stock front fender (which I think is ugly as sin). Here's how the bike looks currently (before I put the stock fender back on):
So, If you would be so kind please post a pic of your non stock fender on the front of your monster (and please let me know where you picked it up from/what it came offa).. I have seen a few different examples that look better than stock, just not sure where they came from. If I do run a front fender I want it to be as small as possibile, but yet still catch crap (and keep it outta my face)...

All help/advice is much appreciated...

I did the same , loved the look without a fender but as I commute rain was a real issue .
So I picked up a cheap second hand fender from this forum,
then cut it right down re shaped it (leaving about an inch from the strut) by using the original curve as a templet
started with a hand saw to get the basic shape then a variable speed sander then hand sanded with a block then re sprayed .

I will try to get a photo , IMO it looks a lot better than the original long fender and way cheaper than CF.

buell xb series fenders look good, to me, on the bike. But you need to make a bracket on each side to mount it.

Oh and they are cheap

Must say man, I'm in love with your bike. Not only dose it look cool as hell sans front and rear fenders but the backdrops you put it against really bring the details out!

In the process of street fightering out my 99' 900ss and wanted to know how/where you blacked out your upper fork tubes. It's the only thing that has been bugging my about blacking out the rest of the frame and still having these blazingly silver forks.
