Really, I have seen more and more kids smoking weed while driving in the city.  They seem so proud of it but I think they look like a-holes and are sending wrong signals to other kids...  I think someday very soon if I see it again I will give them an ass kicked and report them.  Smoking and behind the wheel is completely unnecessary!!  What is the fu<king point?

I never thought about reporting weed smoking while driving but I have called in a few DUI's before.

If you report a DUI, it's only worth it if you can follow the driver while on the phone with the police. Otherwise they don't bother finding the driver.

Side note:
I used to live across the street from a Berkeley pot club and there was always a packed parking lot with cars and motorcycles.  Angry I'm cool with smoking, but not while driving.

hemp mini shirts

Put one of those and a mini skirt together and you'd have an outfit I could approve of.

I'm cool with smoking, but not while driving.

Me 2, I just cannot get the logic behind smoking and driving.

I've got zero problems with recreational drugs, but we've got laws to keep people from using their phones while driving...it would seem fair that lightin' up a fatty probably shouldn't be done on the move either.

If you were on the road and got hit by someone, you found out that they were DUI and then you find out a third party knew they were DUI but didn't call it in, how would you feel?  How would you feel about the person who didn't do anything to stop it?

Follow your moral compass and do what you would want someone to do to save you.

A park Utilities truck ran me off the road the other day. Not DUI related. They just didnt see me.

I took the Phone number, and Contracting license number off the truck and reported it to the office manager.

I told them basically to tell there drivers to be more careful. I was told the supervisor would contact me refarding there employee's.... Guess what. yeah I still havnt gotten a call back... Go figure.

That one on San Pablo would be more convenient  If BART was nearby. Then Not so many Peeps would have to drive. Of course for those in Marin your pretty much SOL for going to "The republic of" without driving. At least in any expedient sort of way.

Don't ask me how I know

Speaking of which, there is this from the Marin IJ:

"DUI screening planned in Marin next three weekends

Staff Report
Posted: 08/17/2009 03:50:25 PM PDT

Marin police agencies are planning a series of DUI checkpoints leading up to the Labor Day holiday.
The first checkpoint will be from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday in San Rafael, while the second take place from 6 p.m. Aug. 28 to 2 a.m. Aug. 29 in Sausalito. Police did not disclose the locations.

A third checkpoint will be from 8 p.m. Sept. 4 to 1 a.m. Sept. 5 on Red Hill Avenue at Ancho Vista Avenue in San Anselmo.

Police will also screen drivers for valid licenses at the checkpoints.

In addition, roving DUI patrols will be sent throughout the county on various nights ahead of Labor Day.

The enforcement campaign is being organized by Avoid the Marin 13, which refers to the 13 main police agencies in the county. Similar programs exist throughout California and are funded through state and federal grants.
