Well, barring the miles I did in the MSF class and a few test rides around the block, these are *my* first 1000km as well.

Results: coffee I like it [wait for it] a lot.

I'm in a very fun place right now. There is still a lot of performance waiting to be tapped as my technique improves but I'm doing well enough now that it's immensely enjoyable already. I just wish I lived farther from work. mmmn okay, not so much. But almost.

first year of riding my M696 was fun
i waited one year before i changed the front sprocket
now i have a bigger smile now b/c i can tell/appreciate the difference

Yeah. I spent 2 weeks just practicing with the controls on city streets before getting on the fwy and actually going somewhere. Now I use it to get to work and I'm dying for a weekend road trip.
