Thanks guys for the great weekend! Thank you derby for leading the way and thanks gus for your generosity and hospitality.

After two days on the bike, getting back in the cage was weird.
You may run the risks, my friend, but I do the cutting. We cut down my percentage---uh, cigar?---liable to interfere with my aim.

The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body.

It is un-natural for man to be in a cage

Thanks to all for the great riding and lots of chuckles. Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. Gus and I saw one guy (not of our group) who didn't and almost got the helicopter ride. That must have been one HELLUVA WILD RIDE!!! Hope he lives to tell about it.
It was very wise of our group to ride at our own chosen paces and not get in over our heads.
I guess Duc riders are just smarter. (heh, yea right [evil])

Nice to see everyone again.

And for the record I didn't try to run of with Derby's tank bag ;D

So I got gapped by Josiah and Courtney on the last straightaway on Lockwood. NBD, I'll catch up at Fraizer park rd. Nope, nobody's here. NBD, I'll catch up at Pine Mnt. hhhhhhhmmmmm, alone again. Ok, I'll catch up at the end of Cerro. On the way there I get passed by these guys:

Hhhhmmmm, there two wide on Cerro on knobbies. What's the worst that could happen [bang] So 2 minutes later I'm seeing if the guy on the DRZ (who is now on the ground) is alright after he "gets run wide by the guy on the GS" :o

He's fine. And somehow I get to Taft before the main group.

Glad to hear your OK bobspapa, good to meet you (again I think?)

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

while waiting on the shuttle bus (Gus), we hung out in front of the bar thats attached to the bbq place. There was a drunk chick, who, on the way out, stopped in the doorway and dropped her pants to moon the bar. and for some reason, her thong got in the way of a full moon, so she dropped it too.

I be fine. The right side of the bike looks like it tip-toed through barbed wire. The only thing that really needs to be replaced is the throttle grip.

This is just the excuse I need to paint the bike black [evil]

Awesome ride (even for the one-dayers)  [thumbsup]

Thanks again Derb for instigating this... Dad said he's never had a better day on the bike and he was very impressed with the level of riding and camaraderie of the group!  [moto]

Sorry to hear about your Oops! BP...

those weren't boxers, they were spandex shortlets showing off all of luca's mantoe. in his defense, he said it was really cold.

Good times and some nice pics :) Thanks to Derby for setting it up and to everybody else for making it a good outing. A special thanks to Big Gus for riding sweep on the 58, it really made Courtney feel a lot more comfortable  [thumbsup]

For the record I ran out of gas (main tank) at 74.9 miles on 58 which was 10 short of the nearest gas station. Reserve got me to that station which was a one pumper with a line of Harley's about 100 long. It was decided to try and make the next nearest station rather than wait. I followed Derby on to the 101 S. and got off at the first exit. My 2.2 gal tank took in 2.1 gals  :o

Next time I'll go 101 N. as it is about 6 miles to the first station instead of 8 to the one going south.

Sorry about that. I thought you were right behind us but figured you got caught behind the big white truck with the trailer on the last little bit. We get to the intersection at the end of Lockwood and Luca is nice enough to be sitting there waiting to point us to Frazier Park to to the right for gas.

We pull into the station and somebody says "Hey what happened to the Mini?" Luca replies "To tell you the truth I forgot about him." I guess he dropped in behind Courtney and me after we made the right and forgot that he needed to waive you in too. The whole Frazier Park thing was definitely a bit of a change. From there on out you were in the lead  ;D
