Whew, (happy to find you guys. Hit TOB & was distraught. Shocked)
Out of the picture for awhile but finally found you guys.
I wanna go, especially since I'll find out the following week if I'll be having more surgery.
Rod & screws holding up good so far. Time to give them "the test".

120+  miles

I usually start north of town, then head up the hill to Alta Sierra, then down over to Kernville for some grub, then back through the canyon to Bako.

I shot a video of the first 1/4 of the loop, from Bako to Glennville, I just need to figure out how to compress it before I can post it. The second 1/4, from Glennville to Alta Sierra, is a blast. It features a wide assortment of corners. waytogo

Hey BP,

I was up that way this weekend.  Had lunch in Kernville Saturday and was impressed w/ the road that follows the river from Lake Isabella south-west toward Bako.  Too bad I wasn't on a bike... I was scouting trailheads for an upcoming Piute dirtbike adventure.

I just got an invite to Vegas for best pals B-day, I hate Vegas and am going to try to dodge it...(apparently, all expense paid trip...sounds too good to be true and, BTW,  I HATE VEGAS).
