9.2 square miles, 25,000 people displaced, a lot of local and national business ruined.  Look for food prices to soar, the grainbelt is hurting.

I know my net worth has dropped 15% in the last 10 months and I think this is just the 1st Act of an ugly 3 act event at least. I don't know what I would do if I lived in the flooded areas. So sad.I'm glad I'm not in my 20s . I don't think life as we know it is going to exist. Sorry to be a downer ...just telling it the way I see it.

Wow..it's been pretty hot up here in the NW these past couple days..especially today!!

No AC here and packing all weekend isn't much fun though.

Actually, it's probably cooler outside with the breeze.

Hard to believe. This has been the wettest June on record in Ohio and the 4th wettest month on record in Ohio. The records go back into the 1800s.

Yup, 80 something here in So-Cal. Mornings are still cold enough to give me the shivers if I don't throw on my overpants and evenings are just a bit on the cold side. Can't wait for the local Revit dealer to get their winter gloves in stock. I'm a bit fickle about temperature and was actually almost sweating when I went out to get lunch.  Roll Eyes

It's supposed to be in the 20's tonight, but clear. In fact, in the next few days, it is supposed to rain, but those days the low is above freezing. I swear the temp here can't make up it's mind.
Forecasted high tomorrow, 39, but next Tuesday, it's supposed to get up to 48!

Welcome to New England.  Grin

You'll learn to appreciate any day it's not snowing. Wink
