and what's it like now?!  BTW..the definition of "sunny" to a PNW'erner is not the same definition the rest of the world shares.   cheeky

We took our daughter down to the Phoenix Airport yesterday and remembered once again one of my favorite Robert Earl Keen lines, about a show he played in Scottsdale a few years back: "I understand why lizards live in sunny Arizona. Why people do and call it home, I'll never understand."

Here in Prescott, we're about 100 miles and 3,000 feet in elevation above you there in Phoenix -- and a steady 15 degrees or more cooler. This morning was full of black clouds, lightning, blustery winds -- and barely a drop of rain. Monsoon season so far has been a complete bust -- lots of teasing & flirting, but no putting out with any of the precipitation we need.

Mid-80s and bright sun here in Seattle today. It's been in the mid 70's since Tuesday.  waytogo waytogo

Supposed to be mid-80's to mid-90's and sunny thru at least next Wednesday. Kinda hot, but  chug overall.  Smiley

Seattle summers are great overall. The winters...not so much. But they do beat all you guy's feet of snow reports.
