no, haven't got it yet. but i hope it comes on friday so i can set it up on sat.
during the week i have no time.

the forks are different than the s, but i am sure it would benefit from a ohlins kit.  But i will let you know when i get to messn' with them.  but it never hurts to change the fluid in a bike that works the forks so hard. on lots of dirt bikes changing the oil even after the first few rides always seems to be a big difference.

i agree on the damper, i was on a test ride the other day on a regular hym and it got a little squirlly. my honda 450 motard had 20mm (from 24's) clamps and a scotts on it and it never got like that.
i have a damper off something i think, i may just buy the mounts and give it a go if i can find it.

but any way, i have held back from buying anything yet, just got to get it first.
i am super excited.

And it does require the OZs?  How much weight savings are you actually getting going from the forged Marchesinis on your bike to those?

I have a base model 2009 1198..... so yeah, the OZ's are a significant upgrade over CAST wheels......

Hey Will,

Can I bring my bike over someday to have the maintenance required message reset?  I guess since I brought my bike in just a few miles before the 7.5K, it came on after it pass the mileage.  Should I make an appt or it is a quick thing?

Thank you,

Jing

I've got cam belts and a 2 year service coming up fast on the 848. Are you planning any vacations or schools soon where you'll be out of the shop for a while?
