hey Will,
are the front and rear shocks on my 09 848 the same as the 848 evo? like the same part number?

the shock is a different part number and didn't get a chance to find out about the forks yet.

The forks on the 848evo are the same from previous year 10/1198s, aren't they?

Why do I feel like my next mod has already been decided?!   drink

Will, I just wanted to say thanks for the suspension adjustment on my red '09 1198...the setting is a tad stiff, but the front rides like a dream compared to the original setting I had!  I hope you like your new seat...thanks again for the great work (as usual).   waytogo

Cheers,
Majdi

Will, have you looked/read up much on TuneECU?  If so, what are your thoughts on it?

ok, i'm about half way done, i will try to see how it feels.
btw- just so ya know, i seen more than a few k+n oil filters fail on ducs.  but i guess it could just be a fluke.

what do you mean by fail? oil leaked around the seal? or filter was too restrictive and starved the engine from oil?

haven't looked into that one, but i did see that rexxer will soon be able to get into other ecus soon.

I was curious to get your take on it.  I've got the software on my laptop, and am waiting on a cable so I can hook it up to the SuperDuke.  Got a few maps set up already from people who have dyno tuned their bikes with very similar set-ups to what I have.  I know it's not a perfect solution, but we'll see where it gets me...
