Not that I know.  For non-elitist reasons, I enjoy riding alone and so haven't gone on their group rides.  And I don't  much, either.  And I'm fifty-(cough) years old.

At 4k miles on your front, it could be worn enough to notice a difference.
They can get worn 'triangular', and the bike will tend to fall in easier.

I agree, my last Diablo front was definitely traingular when it came off at about 9000 miles, but this one is nicely rounded with almost no flat spot.  And I noticed a significant handling change with the new tire.  But it didn't eliminate the low-side thing.

on this same note, you said you just installed forks... are you sure you got everything lined up properly out front?

Yes, pretty confident.  I've installed two sets previously, and replaced steering head bearings.  But this low-side thing predated any mods to the bike, and seems unaffected by them.

One thought I had was that by accelerating even mildly - usually in 1st gear - at the apex, maybe momentarily compressing the shock and lifting the front end, which maybe feels like an incipient low-side??
