hi guys and gals,

someone at my work has a ducati paul smart, and i was checking it out in the parking lot the other day and i thought he had no tail light. i saw him riding out the day after and he has a very thin and bright tail light like a LED strip similar to this: http://tinyurl.com/mo24g7 . You cannot see it at all, only when he presses the brakes. i thought that looked pretty cool.

the product above is just some sort of accent light. does anyone know if a tail light that actually exists or something he may have fabricated?

i think they would look very cool on a monster! my monster  waytogo

thanks

I used to sell tons of them to Victory owners (worked @ a BigDog/Victory dealer)..
The link to their site is:
I am sure it could be adapted to a Monster (or any other bike 4 that matter)....

that's exactly what i was talking about!  applause

does that work as the tail light and integrated turning signals or just as the turning signal?

can this be shaped to fit a monster tail?

thanks!

I believe you can order it to function as a running lite/brake lite and turn signals (check the link above)...
As far as fitting on a monster goes, it def. seems as if you would have to modify it for your specific application.

Do some searching around, I am sure the place above isnt the only company to make something like this...

There was a guy who made the ones specifically for the sport classics. A buddy of mine has the same set up on his Sport 1000. Check over on Ducati.ms (I know its VS but hey) in the sport classic section and I am sure you can find more info.

HAHahahahahHAH.. You're joking, right?  Most of the mod'ed bikes on this forum sure are far from DOT approved... First thing the new guys get razzed about is removing all their reflectors!  I can tell you first hand those FLEDAs are SUPER bright.  Much brighter than stock lighting in most cases.  A small manufacturer just isn't able to get DOT approval I'm sure.  Standard disclaimers apply.  (By the way, nothing I have said in this message shall be used in a court of law, any similarity of characters described to real life people is purely coincidence, no harm intended.)

The flexible LED strips seen in that victory light and the FLEDA stuff are made but Radiantz
http://www.radiantz.com/

Basically they are made up of

And perhaps

I will second that the FLEDA kit is bright as hell!  I know a buy down here with the kit on his Sport1000.  Things look SICK!
