Thanks for all the great advice guys but i'm sorry to say that the funds for this bike are instead being rerouted to a brother to get a rsv mille instead.

Little late, but the mileage is really not that big an issue on motorcycles.  The only reason high mileage is shocking at times is because a lot of motorcycles never live to actually get there.  They get crashed/parted out/or just simply don't get ridden enough.  I knew an MSF instructor that was riding a Goldwing with over 250k miles on it.  Still ran like a charm.
