Never was a big fan of the Boxster, but I kinda like this with the retro stripe on the side.

If I'm not mistaken that is a new boxster that will be available next year. Its going to be super light, somewhere around 2800 pounds with 320 horsepower.  Hate on the Boxster all you want but that's going to be a fun car.

Looking for my own Porsche project -- if anyone knows of a roached out 356 A or pre-A model -- I want to build an Outlaw project!  Thus I don't care about the engine, interior, gauges, floorpans, suspension, etc.  Just need a repairable shell to use w/paperwork.  Contact me offline if you know of something.  Thanks!

Even though I am sure I already know the answer to this; any chance they are going to let this have an LSD?

QuoteOne clue to the Spyder's purposefulness is that it comes standard with a mechanical limited-slip differential, a relatively rare device in a Porsche. A six-speed manual transmission is standard for the Boxster Spyder, while the impressive dual-clutch seven-speed PDK transmission is optional (and 55 pounds heavier). We drove only cars with the manual transmission, but Porsche tells us it has eliminated the PDK's Tiptronic-style shift buttons on the spokes of the steering wheel in favor of shift paddles behind the steering wheel.

I believe it comes standard but I will check.

And there you have it gentlemen!!  Looks like it's time to start saving.  ;)

Randy@StradaFab

Well its been while since I've posted new pics, and it's still not completely done (spent the entire month of Jan. and most of Feb. at work, they did let us off for Superbowl Sunday though :P). Still some odds and ends to finish up and I have to haul it to a shop for an alignment.

It did finally make it out of the shop under it's own power ;D An appraiser is coming this weekend so I know how much to up my insurance.

Came out great. By the time you get any little bugs worked out it will be right in time for the good weather too, perfect timing.  [thumbsup]

Is this the same model that was in Spy Game?

Randy@StradaFab

Was that the movie with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt? I think that was around a '72 coupe.

bulldogs2k
