No, I still didn't get a Ducati *gets insta-banned*    cheeky

It does however have a 90* v-twin.  In fact, it has two of them stuck together!  Introducing my new (to me) '95 VFR.

I decided I really needed something with some touring blood in it.  My wife is selling her bike soon because she doesn't ride much anymore but wanted me to get something big and comfy enough that she could ride on the back and we could weekend trip on.  I didn't have the cash for a duc ST3/4 though I lusted over them and couldn't find any decent Triumph Sprint STs around here for less than $5000.

I picked this beauty up for well under my budget.  Needs new tires but otherwise is in near perfect condition.  Little bit dirty here and there.  Took it up the Crest this morning and saw a couple of guys on Ducs.  Possibly a white 848 and a Monster of some variety -- didn't get a close enough look.

One of these days I may own a Duc!  But for now I am extremely happy with this ride!  See you on the road!

The two guys you saw were on a Monster and a Triumph 675....I chatted with them for a while.  Congrats on the new hardware.  I think you've chosen wisely given the criteria you put forth.  VFRs are solid mounts and can still be loads of fun when you get to the twisties!

See me tomorrow (and today, and yesterday) at the Crest.
