We were hoping to have the S2R800 systems shipped by late August. (everyone who ordered was aware of this delivery time) The vendor(s) machining the stainless exhaust ports we weld into the cnc mandrel bend tubing systems -- all three failed. One bailed. One was rejected due to poor quality. Third broke his CNC lathe after he had cranked out more S2R1000 ports for us. Thus I machined myself this weekend while still battling a horrific cold. Parts are shipped and will be jig welded later this week and then returned. We will do a few TIG welds we do here ourselves and modify per customer specifications/orders -- then route for ceramic coating -- and when returned we assemble baffles/tips and package for shipping. (and collection of remainder of balance due before shipment takes place)
If you haven't been getting the 7/10 day e-mails updates from myself, send me an e-mail to
marksavory@motocreations.com
and/or PM me via this forum to verify your e-mail works.
We still have S2R1000 and S4RS systems available and regularly shipping those. The S2R1000 systems will be re-stocked before we are completely out. The demand for the S2R800 systems has been incredible. (thanks everyone who has ordered them!) M1100 Monster exhaust systems will be available @ late October for first deliveries.

Mark how many of the S2R 0.8K kits do you plan to make?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

We will keep making them into 2010. If I found another Northwest enthusiast, there is a 2nd exhaust design I'd like to make available as well for the S2R800. (I'll debut the design on the M1100 upcoming)
Remember that for the Termi and the other exhaust vendors -- we only manufacture/sell a small percentage of systems in comparison to them. We never want to get so big that we can't/don't deal with the customers ourselves or can't respond to "special requests" via customers who want something unique and special.

just don't throw away your jigs like SOME folks do so you can do a run 8-10 years from now. (i.e. Bub)
half the bikes i have are 10+ years old and it would be nice to be able to buy something new for them that isn't a hand-crafted job. (Cagiva Alazzurra, anyone? I have >200 ppl on a mailing list who would be interested if the price is right)

Those really look great! I keep waiting for the M1100 version to be available. Every time I fire up my bike and hear the stock cans I just have to tell myself "This quiet will all be over soon".

Thanks, man. I'm really happy with the all black, too. Mark is great to deal with, he definitely has a passion for Ducatis...They really do sound killer, and provide a nice balance at idle to the open dry clutch. Before, with the stock pipes, the clutch was way louder. Now, there is a great balance in sound with exhaust and the dry clutch.
I saw a couple of post comments on here saying the BoomTubes made the bike sound too much like a Harley. Not even close, and they really start rearing their head as you get up in the RPMs.
