Is it possible to change the LED Light of the Evotech Fender? I heard that is not thaaat bright.

did you really like that visible indicator cables,screws and position 

check this, for me ( ok its ours  ) it looks better without visible indicator screws and cables

+1 on the Evotech.

BUT - important installation note!!!!!!!!  The instructions tell you to use a dab of grease on the bolts holding the tail in place, which is a terrible idea.  I did exactly that, torqued them down well, and went for a ride.  Less than 20 kms later, two were gone, and the other two were hanging on by their last threads.  How much do you want to have your tail secion falling onto your rear tire at speed?

I called Evotech and they shipped me the replacement bolts and nuts.  They also agreed that some light-hold threadlocker is a better idea than grease.

Other than that, I love the unit.  The company is top notch for customer service, too.

I used the grease to hold the rubber grommets in place, not on the bolts.... that kept them from falling off during install.

I've never ridden without a rear fender before. How uncomfortable/wet does it get with a tail tidy (Evotech or other) on a Monster (796)? It appears the line from the back of the rear tire to the end of the license plate is pretty much dead vertical which suggests to me that spray cannot reach the rider. Is that right? Or can I expect to get a soaking from spray in damp weather?

well the coverage is way better than the CW kit, but not as good as stock, you will still get some debris and water on any of the shorter tails, but its much less prevalent than the CW

Thanks for your feedback. I'll resist for now and see how much wet weather riding I do during the imminent rainy season here in Hong Kong before deciding.
