That's truly horrible.  I'd rather crash and rebuild my beloved Duc, than try to get Chinatown garbage stink and grease out of the gauges.

best time to experience this is in july/august when the sun is out, the temp is about 85-90 and the fish markets and restaurants have put trash out.

nothing yummier than rotting cuttlefish and pig entrails!

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I experienced that in Chinatown on my first and only trip there.

Chinatown was the most disgusting, vile place I have ever visited.

I still gag when I think about the stench.

They have no idea how to keep anything clean there. The juices build up and they dont even bother to wash it off. That area is make the beast with two backsing filthy.

I remember walking by some sort of fish market and they were throwing whatever they could into the storm drain area

produce, fish parts, shrimp, bones, etc.

It was make the beast with two backsing disgusting.

I used to like china town as a kid, but I avoid that place at all costs.  The only time I come close is going to center street for small claims, L&T, or getting in trouble.

Why would you go there in the first place?  Even the restaurants that used to be great aren't so great anymore and you can get better quality elsewhere.

Theres still some good spots. But for the most part i go to 8th ave in brooklyn.

However, no matter where you go. Chinatowns are generally very very smelly places because of seafood. Just a few fish can over power the smell of sun rotted beef!

MendoDave

Well at least it wasn't torched

Or at least they didn't saw off your sparkplugs.

i have 4 plugs, it would of been better if a crack head stole 2 of them, my bike would still start. lol

Look into a place like Austin!! Very friendly city!  I just left there a few weeks ago and really missing it!  I'm noticing how much friendlier of a place it was now that I am back here in Phoenix.

Agree with Matador..some beautiful women there but not nearly as many though that there are here in the valley!!   [evil]

I just moved back east (dirty jerz) from San Francisco, and I think it may have been one of the worst decisions I have made.  As soon as I got into the state I was tailgated for about 6 miles until I pulled into my driveway.  People are assholes, shitty drivers and it is humid here.  Yes the pizza is better, but pretty much everything else sucks.

like ducatiz said - move west!
