Ohlins steering damper for 696

It's an Ohlins steering damper for the 696/1100. I'm thinking about getting a steering damper, but don't know which one - Bitubo, Ducati or this. Not sure about the mounting position of this one though.

I'm not a fan of the side mount kits.  I wanted a top mount so I went with Bitubo.

Hyperpro also makes a top mount but it's huge and appears to block the ignition slightly.

Sorry to thread jack but alot of these dampners look alike.  So is it me or is the hard part is finding a place to mount them.  Because my little wheels in my head can find many other combinations that you can do to either hide or put out of the way with a short trip to your local weld shop.  Or am i just completely wrong and it has to be mounted at a certain configuration.

I saw one of these on a bike around here.

He liked it but said Ohlin's or Kyle was doing one or going to have one specifically for the 1100 that wouldn't fit on the 696 and he was going to upgrade.  He said it was a simple install and worked well.

I have one from Kyle, but I no longer have my M1100S. I did take it off before saying goodbye, so I'm selling it. I'll put this on sales section this weekend with new pics. Kyle is asking $449. I had it on for around 2000 miles before getting a new bike. If anyone is interested, I'm selling it for $300. It has loads of adjustments and gets a lot of attention. 

Yes, the top mount looks better, but this one worked just as well as the one on my Streetfighter. Drop a PM if anyone is interested.
