It seems the paint contains some fluro yellow and the different surfaces give a different reflection  Roll Eyes

i've yet to see a white duke with matching panels, i just love the tri colour, but with pearl bodywork (mostly) and plain white wheels??? nope, besides, i love my s4r too much to chop her in. Grin
as for different materials being different shades? yep, it happens, a lot! even using the same primer will give different shades, the only way around it is to prime, rub back and prime again before top coat colour, and not many factory paint jobs have that much time and effort spent on them, unless it's an aston or a ferrari. Undecided
