I am signed up for this Jeff's track day and will go out to set up the paddock on Wednesday night. It would be great to have some folks come out if you have the time off work. This is the last track day in September and the next one is not scheduled until late October. That is if anyone registers. If no one registers then they will not put a track day on. Trust me and the rest of the guys on here that do track days the price is not a concern when it comes to track safety and other riders. This is just peace of mind.

I am really looking forward to getting on the track with Jeff and the guys. Ever since last years Euro Track Day that AMS put on I've had the bug in a bad way and have been preparing for this time ever since. I'm going to be working on my braking, cornering mostly. I have to get comfortable with leaning the 999 over to the max through the corners and conquering that fear. I'm hoping that Daddy Duc will come out and see how his old bike is behaving now. It's gotten some manners lately.

How are you liking that mod?  Aside from sounding cool as hell, does the new clutch situation affect the timing of the gear engagement?

Lisa, it's all because of you that I look this way. I've always wanted to emulate that picture of your old avatar/sig of you coming around the left twisty looking through the corner so well and got that totally awesome lean angle goin on. I have always respected the way you ride. So ...flatery is the compliment here maam!  waytogo

The upside of this all is that maybe when we are both on the track people will notice the Ducati marque! (not that i'd be anywhere close to you except when you lap me!!  Undecided ) I just have to ride to my bike's potential or at least a tenth of it is my hope Undecided  Grin

And, yes, you do looook mahvelous dahling just mahvelous, AND! holy smokes the RED helmet too boot!!! How cool is that avatar! Now I don't miss your boobies so much  waytogo he he  applause

I'll let you know next week after it's installed.  I've been waiting for Italy to send it, but they went on vacation all last month as we all know.  I'm just wanting to feel what it's like to slam down gears and not have the back end kick out

Coming into Rattlesnake off the Big Ben straight is where I was having some real issues of this. I could not stop any other way and was getting mad because I couldn't scrub enough speed off to turn in to the corner. A slipper is certainly the key for that such application.

So, Bryant, what is the 'Big Day' about?

Cool, I'm going to start saving my extra lunch money for a fresh set of tires.  The ones that are on there now are from LAST October's AMS track day... Solid rocks  Lips Sealed
