Anyone interested?  The race was mentioned in the other thread: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=29102.0

I was thinking maybe a quick ride and try to get to the track by 10am.  Ideas are Tortilla Flat, Bartlet Lake, Roosevelt lake (maybe something like this? http://tinyurl.com/MegaFunRide  )....Kearney/Winkelman loop.....I'm up for anything. I'm going to regret saying this...but I would like to get an early start...say 6am.

Anyone?  I'm riding regardless.

I'm in. Any of those rides sounds good. I might frown on Roosevelt though.

I didn't realize they were so close in distance. Hmmm. What direction would you run Roosevelt? The 87 is more twisty on the way up. Not sure about he canyon out of globe though.

Both loops i was thinking of running clockwise, starting out heading north on the Bee-line hwy.  Would be north to south past Roosevelt.  I'm open to suggestions.  We could meet at the 101 & Shea, Superpumper on the NE corner.

Sunday morning ride sounds great, plus only 100 degree highs and dry....ish.
Then on to the races!

I'd like nothing more than to blow off house chores for another weekend! I was going to the track, hoping to catch up with Adam again. Soooo, which one of the "blue google lines" do you want to follow? Both look to require stands up at 530 or 6 am if we want to be trackside by 10am! It seems that departures always run a little tardy...not that I'm accusing anyone in particular. Anyway, what's the plan man?

You're right Doug.  Let's do the second run, Payson out-n-back.  It's a little shorter and has a better opportunity to make up time.

Meet at the Superpumper gas station, NW corner of 90th St. & Shea (just east of Shea & the 101).  Meet up at 5:30/5:45, or whaterver you need to be kickstands up @ 6 !!!  If I'm late, as Doug so graciously tried to illuminate, leave without me.  That will be my punishment for a great date on Sat night.

I think your punishment would be better decided by the people who make the ride on time. Maybe the late guy should adorn a pink mohawk on his helmet for the duration of the ride, hows that for motivation.  waytogo

I think the cost of coffee would be punishment enough.
