Any Ducatisti up this way?  I live in Val Verde (just off the 126 a few miles west of Castaic).  Would like to connect with other Monster monkeys in the area.  [moto]

Cheers!

Nope, I'm in Hollywood, but I've been meaning to get my backside up that way and ride the 150 from Santa Paula to Ojai with a stop at my alma mater Thomas Aquinas College.

Perhaps I can work it into the schedule in a couple of weeks.  If you're interested I'll post up about it.  If the Calypso Pub is still open in Ojai we could grab a lunch there.

Hey Nordog!

My girlfriend and I will be looking at a house for sale on that road tonight.  It's actually the first house past the college!  As you cross the bridge, it's the first house on the right.

It's a great road!  Back when I last rode, I used to like to run the stretch between the bridge and the little village up there, a few times back and forth...great rhythm.

I'll keep an eye out for your posting.

Cheers!

Good luck with the house hunting.

Don't forget the backside of 23. Wink

Once I get my bike and myself dialed in, I'll organize and post a group ride or something.  Maybe Lake Hughes Road, Pine Canyon Road, Old Ridge Route  loop.
