I'm heading out Sat around 5pm from Livermore if anyone wants to ride up together.  Circus Circus had rooms this morning and some others did, too.
Coming back Monday and we're going to try and make three passes on the way home.  Hopefully 120's open by then.  Let me know if you're interested.

Wish I could go this year. There's a place in the desert where you can hang out underneath one of the pylons. Friggin unbelievable.

There's a P-51 at the Livermore airfield that flies over my house just about every weekend and usually over my work every few days.  To hear a handfull go by a few hundred feet off the ground at full throttle gives you chills.

I was up there the year Dago Red (another P-51) broke 500mph. Even at 50 feet in the air, these things shake the ground when they go by.

AAACKKKK!!!!! So much to do, so little time!! bang head I have so much to do before the trade show in Vegas next week, I'm definitely a no-go on this year's races.  I know that pylon in the desert quite well.... been a favorite spot for years! The whole thing is an experience that shouldn't be missed.

Vintage warbirds 50' off the deck is awesome, to say the least. waytogo waytogo waytogo waytogo waytogo And as much as I love it all, I'm still having issues with jets flying over... keeps giving me the willies and making my blood run cold. Damn PTSD. Angry

The jets flying over bother me too. I keep thinking I'm supposed to be doing some work. Work! The horror of it all...
