My son and his wife are big bicyclists at University of Illinois. Recently they had to move, so just for kicks, they did it by bicycle...

My brother, in Corvallis, moved that way twice.  He also discussed the details of the move at a couple of cycling advocacy committees that he spoke at in DC.
