shit Melvin that's terrible. :'(

Hope Jesse Jr is recovering well and yes, obviously a true survivor.

Super T.I.B

Poor thing.

Hope your buddy gets' better soon.

That's what p*sses me off, did that Staffi not have a leash? Or was it roaming around by itself?  >:(

BretMorris

Shit.. poor little thing....

I hope for a speedy recovery....

dragonworld.

Poor Baby. Give her a gentle scruff for me. ;)

As usual, the responsible dickhead human who is SUPPOSED to be in charge of the Bully wasnt doing their job. And its the 2 animals that suffer. One gets munched and one potentially gets the Green Dream. >:(

Buy the girl a Schmako for me. [thumbsup]
Secret to a long relationship is........Keep the fights clean and the sex DIRTY"!

flywheels

That's so sad, mate.
That poor little thing.
I'd be gutted if that happened to my pregnant dog.
What happened to the other dog?  Injection I hope. Or at least the owner pays for the meds.

poor little defensless thing.
A staffy's face is pure muscle. They live to bite.
If you want to look on the bright side, at least you still have your best mate. The Staffy could have torn your little buddy into a million pieces.
They have no "off" switch.
And little dogs come back well form injuries.

It's just not right though.

well, that remains to be seen. as nice and apologetic as they were, the vet's bill was $1.597. they did offer to pay the bill.......time will tell

thanks for your kind words, guys   [thumbsup]

Spider

It's the bloody owners who deserve the injection. They buy the animal knowing it's reputation and convince themselves that "our baby is different" and then completely fail to protect others from their stupidity.

I'm sorry Melvin to her of her pain, hope she heals quickly.

Dockstrada

That sad to see I feel for you Melvin mums dog was attacked the same way she was devastated unfortunately Kissy never made it  :'(
So on the positive side looks likes Jessie  will come out of it not to bad and a lesson learnt by all ,I hope .Get well Jessie [thumbsup]

Dickheads!

I had a Staf when I grew up and it was THE best dog I've ever had, but you have to be able to control them. One minute they are the most lovable dogs, next minute, they see another dog and nothing can stop them.

For mine, there was only one breed of dog it hated, German Shepherds, did not care about any other dog breed. I'd walk it down the street, dog's would be barking at him, he'd just look and keep on going. Then if he saw an Alsation, he'd nearly pull your arm out of your shoulder. :P

We used to hang a strip of leather off the clothesline, he'd grab it and we spun him around and he wouldn't let go.  [laugh]

Sorry for the threadjack.

Hope Jesse makes a speedy recovery and gets back to sniffing bums. ;)

that is what has happened. and a simple thing like keeping a dog on a leash 24/7 would prevent it. i'm of an opinion that it's always owners fault; it starts with bad upbringing and later on only escalates

bazz20

get well soon jesse and bite the bastard back  [evil]

Big T
