Does anybody run STRAIGHT PIPES TOO?

i just made up a set of straight pipes for my 01 m750 , also rejetted removed air box lid.
i cant believe i didnt lose low end and the sound is amazing.
just wondering if anyone else has done this mod?

do you have any pics? and did you put any baffles in it? i took my mufflers off the other day just to see how loud it was, and i couldnt do it. i started it up on the lift and it was just too loud for me.

no baffels straight 1 3/4 tube , i'll get some pics tommorow . when i started i had just taken off my cans to hear what it sounded like. it was too loud because the the sound reflected off the ground. with the added 18 inches of pipe it gave it just enough back pressure and works well with my jetting. i finished off the pipe by making a heat shield so now it looks like i have machine guns off the back of my bike. the sound might be too loud for some people but to me its my second line of defense -if they cant see me they sure will hear me!
