I keep seeing a black, older generation monster riding into the South Run Rec Center in the mornings around 7:30. Makes me miss my m600.

Saw a red Hyper and a red Multistrada (I think) heading south on 270 near Frederick yesterday around 2:00. We waved at each other and it was brotherhood of the open road and what not.

2012 or 2013 black 1100 Evo in the motorcycle parking next to Rock Bottom off of Glebe Road in Arlington with temp tags.  I tried to park next to it with my red one but they were packed in tight today!

Sunday ~2:30 PM(?): Red late model Monster coming onto the GW Pkwy from 495 as I was exiting the Pkwy to head north on 495.
Around 4:10 PM a red Panigale on 28 passing by the post office/gas station in Dickerson, MD. I was sitting by my parked red Multi in the gas staion parking lot.

Here's an interesting one: red w/white stripe Monster being towed (yes towed, with front wheel strapped to bumper and rear wheel rolling on the road) behind a Toyota SUV.  It was around 10:15 PM Saturday evening on the outer loop of the beltway, just before the GW Pkwy exit.  I didn't catch the plates on the SUV, but it was an odd sight.

Ha! Can the cops ticket for only having rear-wheel on the ground?

That reminded me of a story I heard a few years ago. Someone attended one of the WERA Endurance rounds (I think it was WERA Endurance) hauling their bike the same way. At some point in the wee hours on the way home something with the bike's "mounting" allowed the bike to fall over on it's side. A while later when another car alerted the driver they found they had ground off a lot of the bike and had a nice cross section of motor and frame behind them. I can imagine the sparks that thing must've thrown.

Ahhh, a little JB Weld and I imagine that engine was as good as new. Grin

I've been broke and pinched a few pennies, but I can't imagine I would have ever thought towing/dragging a bike was a good idea.  I think I would try to strap it to the roof before I'd try top mount the front wheel to the rear bumper.

I saw a BMW G650 on 395, crawling across the 14th Street bridge in the slush yesterday morning. Was that anyone here?
