Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

waytogo  Yeah, I finally got my powdercoated parts back on after many setbacks.  It's been a minute since I actually rode the damn thing.  I tried to start wrapping my forks yesterday and screwed it up horribly.

Why would one wrap up forks?

Some find it pleasing to the eye.

I wanted to get them anodized but I don't have the tools or skills to pull the forks and disassemble.  I saw there a lot of people that have wrapped their forks and I thought it looks cool.  It's reversible, which is nice, and whenever I have to have my forks actually serviced I could get them anodized.

Why not wrap yours in pasta alla carbonara? Best of both worlds! Might be a bit messy.

Tuesday, took my daughter to Ft. Myer and saw:
Black tank with red lettering Monster riding afternoon rush hour Arlington/Rosslyn.
Red, newer plastic tank, Monster riding in Georgetown.  (We were in the blue Volvo)
Nice (!) Yellow SR* with yellow bellypan, exposed cam belts, parked in Rosslyn.
