I wanted to get them anodized but I don't have the tools or skills to pull the forks and disassemble.  I saw there a lot of people that have wrapped their forks and I thought it looks cool.  It's reversible, which is nice, and whenever I have to have my forks actually serviced I could get them anodized.

Ah, I've never actually seen that before, but probably have & thought they were painted/anodized.  I suck at covering things with wrap - made a huge mess of my Tankslapper kit a few years ago.

I suck at it too.  That's why I'm getting Artful to use his pro skills to help me out.

At the intersection of Lynn St. and Lee Highway @ 2:46 I spotted a Diavel and a Hyper.  THe Hyper was headed to Georgetown and the Diavel was headed towards 66E.  THe Diavel is not that 'ugly' when it's moving  [moto]

Nice.  I figured one of us would spot one in the wild at some point.

2001 black M750 parked on sidewalk in front of 19th Hole (DC).  I was pointing out to my friend where the tail used to be, where the gauge cluster was supposed to be, wondering what all the wires hanging out in front of the vert cyl were, and wondering why the frame & headlight bucket were fuscia.  It was somethin.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
