There's an old-ass GW for sale here on base for <$1000.

I've been tempted to pick it up and make it a track pregnant dog.

Not because it'd be even slightly competitive.

Mostly because if I had to watch it bounce down the track and into a corner I wouldn't be heartbroken. Or broke.

Dude there would be so many scrapes on that bike if you actually took it to the track.  I think the paint job is taking it far enough. laughingdp

That looks pretty good!

Back in the early 80s, there were a couple of local guys with cafe racer G-Ws...clip ons, solo seat, rear sets.  At least one of them was pretty quick too.  I took photos of them...need to dig out the old slides and scan them.
