What a dumb make the beast with two backsing Wally!!!!
Why the hell do you think you need to run your bike to clean the chain.
If he had a stand like he said he did you just spin the wheel with one hand and hold the rag with the other.
Even then you still do it in the opposite direction to the sprocket.
Newbie or otherwise common sense should prevail you don't run your fingers near sharp objects.

Maybe he just needed to run with scissors. Wombat!

And I love his comment, doesn't matter really I'm left handed.....
Like saying it's alright I don't need my left foot I drive an automatic.

unlucky is owning a suzuki bazz!
but give the poor bastard some credit, he posted with the best intentions, hoping others learn from his "stupidity" and he seems sincere about it, shame most of his peers on that thread sound like young "squids" and no matter how graphically you portray the results of brain fade most will think/say they are immune because it just doesn't happen to them.

Silly bugger should have stuck the rag on the end of his todger, then there'd be one less breeder at the shallow end of the gene pool....

I can't give stupidity a break Bazz.
I mean really would clean the wheels on your car by putting it on jacks and putting it in gear then sticking your fingers
in the moving parts!
Really, dumb is just dumb.

I agree Bazz and I try to help out anyone I can.
But if he's on a forum and a noobie wouldn't you ask before leaping?

You don't stand at the edge of a cliff and jump before asking how to do it.
Anyways I guess I have said enough, harsh maybe but ask Six95 about my local Gixxer Leb Boyz stereo type.

Just thought case in point, the guy who bought my bike. Total noobie, saw him at the Concourse the other weekend.
He saw and read the chain cleaning thread we have going and he asked me what I do and how I do it.
There are no photos or stories of him loosing fingers cause of "dumb ass-ness" you ask questions and get answers if you don't know. And if worse comes to worse go to a bike shop or accessories shop ask questions about cleaners and how best to apply.
That's what I did before I found the DMF.

p.s. just read the thread to my wife including the post from said fingerless gixxer rider and even she said WTF!
