there's some increase. it's most noticeable around 4k rpm, which the stock chip has a pretty heavy dip in power so that the bike will pass EURO3 emissions. I run my 696 mostly in that range when not on the highway. I've seen stock Dyno charts showing rear wheel HP at 67. I've yet to dyno mine, nor have I seen a info on anyone else's.
