hey guys, i have a rare opportunity to re-acquire my mish-mash ducati!!!

how can you help me get it back you may ask?!

help me sell this because the deal is almost done, i just need to raise a small amount of cash to cover what i owe....:

some details on the bicycle: it's an Orbea (small spanish builder) 55cm size,  built from columbus ultrafoco triple-butted steel w/ carbon seatstay, fork, and seatpost and campagnolo veloce shifter/brake-y bits and mavic ksyrium wheels. i don't have a scale but if i had to guess it's weight, it would be in the 18-19 lb range, if you're into steel road bikes you're probably not concerned with weight anyhow....  so, it's well-sorted, well-ridden and has the usual nicks and scratches but no dents or major flaws. any other details upon request.  it was about $2500 new back in 2003, and is one of maybe 50 frames like it imported to the whole U.S., no idea how many there are worldwide....anyways, asking $1500 firm, you pick it up, or i'll ship it to your door for $1600.

so yeah, looks like i'm gonna be back in the ducati club, just need to sell this roadbike!

$2,500 for a bicycle??!!  Holy crap, does that come with a flat-screen TV and KISS concert tickets??!
Well, it should.

Things sure have changed since the days when we would cruise around on our gnarly Huffys...

P.S.
Duuude, I told you that you shouldn't have sold the Duc...

Between this bike with the open pipe and your retro bobjob with the straight pipes, your new neighbors must really loooove you.

 Tongue     Congrats.

it looks the same!

.....just with a bunch more leaks.  pinhole in the oil cooler, one fork tube dumped it's lube, drip drip drip at the spin on filter because probably double gasketed, and finally one of the plastic female fuel Q/D's was snapped off. fortunately it didn't burn to the ground OTW home....

C'MON, it's not had the meggies on in awhile....  and that sporty isn't *that* loud.  there haven't been any all-nighter revv-fests since ella came along anyhow.  just sayin'

ya, the retail price of my mountain bike is way more than I paid for my Ducati......if the your bike was a few sizes bigger I'd have taken it. My back-up ride/ SS is an Orbea 29er, so I'm a huge fan of the brand
