Pulled into the garage after work this morning. Nothing new. Parked about 10ft away from the wife's brand new Suzuki TU250X. Before I even put the stand down, I noticed her bike slowly fall over into my ramps and slide to the floor. Hopped off my bike and picked her's up. She came out to see what the noise was about. Dented the tank in two places, bent the left foot controls in and adjusted the left hand controls. She took it better than I would have. Fixed the controls and ordered an new left foot bracket. New tank is $600. Will have to wait on that. Just wanted to share. Thanks for reading.  (BTW she thinks maybe she didn't get the stand down all the way. I think the twin thump knocked it down)

How is the tu250x btw? I've been going into every suzuki dealer I come across to try and see one in person.

She loves it. She had a Ninja and fell in love with the retro look of the TU. It sits a little higher but she is able to put both feet down. I have drove it around the neighborhood and it rides very nice and has decent power for a 250. I haven't seen another one on the road and it was the only one the local dealer had.

I like that so much more than the Honda Rebel. If I were to get a 250 to learn on, that looks much better than most.

Have been checking into getting the tank repaired. It has two deep creases with a gnarly scratch. She wants a color change to satin black with a gold flake trim and a tan seat. Its doable.

That little Suzi is a cutie!!  Love the retro stylin'!  Reminds me of the Yam SR500s of my misspent youth. Better looking than their mini-cruiser.  Put some clubman bars, rear sets, and a solo cowl and your rockin' the classic cafe look.
