Get out your camera and start shooting your best/secret rides.

I started porting the camera around because I like looking at twisty roads. They give me sweaty palms.  Wink
These are some of my favorite spots to ride I've been to.

Skaggs Rd. One of the finest pieces of road engineering I've ever seen. Every inch as good as I've ever ridden. Rythm. Best rythm.
Up in Sonoma, Ca. Peppered with Vineyards to taste, rolling hills and Lake Sonoma.

Hywy 84 up at the highest point. Look fun? Yep.  Grin A place every kind of bike converges to. Getting around a dozen Harleys here is as good as it gets.  Evil The top holds the famous Alice's Restaurant. You can see dozens of bikes every weekend hanging out.

Top of Hywy 9. Tight twistys from Santa Cruz in the deep Redwoods. So dark at Noon you can see your headlights on the trees. Gets up on a high ridge and provides views that take the breath away. At the top here two of my favorite high speed sweepers.

Now yours:

Sorry, no pics, but Redwood Rd. always puts a big smile on my face, and Bear Creek, and Marsh Creek, the River Rd. from Sac to Antioch.......too many good ones in the Bay Area.

Not exactly a secret twisty, but one of my faves still. [moto] The esses and up the hill at turn five.

Cool pics, Scooby.  Where in eastern Oregon are you?

Here are some from last May.  My work colleague Eric and I took a road trip from Pdx out to eastern Oregon.

84 from 1 to Alice's is my all time favorite place to ride.  Years ago I made a point to do that every weekend.  I hadn't been up there in a long time and last weekend I had a great ride that took me down then back up 84.  On the way up, we didn't have a single car in front of us the whole way up.
