Don't forget the Range Cafe and I've never had a bad meal at the Coronado Grille both in Bernalillo.

Zaster- we spent 2 weeks inn a rented house in Umbria a few years ago with a few other couples. A few klicks from Tuscany. Never had a bad meal.

A well-prepared meal oozes the passion the chef has for cooking. It's like Joey at SuperMoto Italia (dealer I frequent back on Long Island) says about Ducati's: The Japanese make great bikes, but a Ducati has charisma".

My goal is to spend 2 weeks in Bologna sometime in the next few years (meaning, before I get too old). Supposed to be the best food city in Italy. And then there's Ducati.
I haven't met you in person but would be interested in going back to Italy with anyone who appreciates the southern hospitality.

I like dinner at Indigo Crow in Corrales, very nice atmosphere and delicious foods.  Haven't been there in forever so I guess I will have to go soon again.

Also, I love Season's.  Just a nice atmosphere and the food is also very well done.

I cook better than 90% of the restaraunts in town, so I generally enjoy fine dining in my neighborhood.

I'm down with all those

I do love Seasons. Owned & ran by two of my friends (twins), Kevin & Keith, so the food is great.  I prefer the chef & servers at Zinc myself (I use to speak at their staff meetings, so I have gotten to know quiet a few of them), but you can't go wrong at either.  Oh, and they have Savoy in the heights also.

Dusty was LHAO this morning Diavolo, That's what I always say about these sub par (at best) expensive places where you could get something out of the frozen section that tastes the same. WTF

Come over some night & we'll cook for the group.  We also have a couple of others here that are pretty handy in the kitchen (Calling out THP or whatever you call yourself now, HP, cupcake, Ashley).

Yeah, we haven't done a real "pot luck" in quite a while and it sounds like there are quite some chef's lingering out there.  Vino!  bacon  bow down

I would love to do it and contribute an Italian dish. Don't know if our schedule will permit- we fly back to NY Monday morning.

We' ll be back about Dec 12 through Jan 3. A Holiday get-together would be nice. I am a follower of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and we celebrate the generic "Holiday".
