I've tried several spots on the bike. The best was zip tied to the forks like Ducatiz mentioned. I did this on both of my monsters & it was fine with the external e-zpass.

On my gixxer, I put it under the rear cowl & it worked perfectly. On my 675 I had it under the side cover of my right fairing - doesn't work at all. Still looking for a good spot for it now.

If it wasn't for the stupid boom gates, I'd just keep it zip tied to the bike somewhere as I'm happy to let the cameras bill me. I still don't know why almost every entry into NYC has boom gates, it's retarded.

Ziptied to the Triple is the best way to go.  Mine always works.  Make sure you get the one for motorcycles the discount is much more than 50% for some tolls.

traffic flow control.  they actually tune the speed of the opening and closing depending on the time of day and rate of traffic.

you ONLY get the bike discount if you get an Ezpass with the M logo.  The license plate type are not for bikes, you will not get it.

I had one for a motorcycle, it has a huge plate with an M glued to it.

When you register for the EZPass you register your motorcycle and get a specific tag just for the MC.  Like Ducatiz says it has a GIANT M on it.  I have 2 tags 1 for my car with no extra badging and then one for my MC with the giant M on it.

Just called EZ Pass after reading this post because my second tag has no "M" on it.  They told me it is programmed for motorcycle but that it won't be marked.
