Xbox live?

Yes.

I live on it in the winter.

I haven't played live with the 360 yet though, just H2 with the regular xbox

I just picked up Halo 3: ODST.
By far my favorite shooter yet. And yes, I have played HalfLife & HL2, etc. etc.
If you're on a 360, get ODST, you won't be disappointed.

I've been kicking around picking up a 360 for this winter, and ODST is the reason....

(especially if the SO makes good on her threat of making me get ride of my bike after my recent near-death experience  Undecided )

Orange box is good. I'd play on the PC if I had the choice between PC or console, though.

You should check out some of the old school spin offs from Half Life like Blue Shift.

Yeah graphics are old looking but some of the best A.I. you will ever encounter up to date.

My local target has the orange box for 20 bucks new. One of the best deals ever. My brothers and I play TF2 at least twice a week (they live 2 hours away).

Hit me up on live if you pick it up..... (Dagsshadow)

+1 on the Orange Box. You won't be disappointed.
Question for some of the ODST owners: Is it any good as a 1 player game or is it at it's best as a multiplayer platform?

Multi player is the same as the regular Halo 3, even though they separated it into another disk. Single player was very good. You can also do campaign coop and firefight, which is like Nazi Zombies on CoD WaW, but with more maps.
