All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

He had that bike posted up a few weeks ago, while it was still in SC even.  Funny thing is, he didn't lower the price any, and there are more than two other white 848s on Oahu already.

I reckon there must be at least 4 white 848's here and at least 3 red ones.

CUSTOM PAINT
ENLARGED PISTONS AND TITANIUM COILS

TYPICALLY U HAVE TO OVERHAUL A DUCATI EVERY 5K MILES
WITH THE 3K UPGRADE I DID, IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE OVERHAULED FOR ANOTHER 25K MILES.

INVESTED ALOT, WOULD LOVE TO KEEP
MY LOSS WILL BE YOUR GAIN
"SHE RYDEZ"
NO LOW BALLIN
CALL VAL AT 3069811

Found this gem on craigslist.
Complete with "SHE RYDEZ" in graffiti letters on the fairings (see pic)
Shame on me for not overhauling my Ducati every 5k miles.  Undecided
3K upgrade = no "overhaul" for another 25k miles... yeah I guess 3k is more than enough for an R1 motor swap.  Huh?

You have to wonder if that guy really exists and if he's really serious and believes all that. WTF is a titanium coil anyway? No one has to answer that.

At least he dropped the price, he was asking $13,000.00 before.  laughingdp

Rick, 2006 D675 graphite.

Dude is wanting way too much money for it, but give him a call.  You can probably talk him down by calling bullshit on the "only 200 made total" bit.

yeah that's a bit high.  Unfortunately, it's probably what he owes the bank since it looks like it's pretty new.

Why would someone get a brand new bike when they know they're getting out so soon and moving back? Did they have a "re-up" change of heart?

Good possibility.  Or maybe they're getting the boot!

Yea, my neighbor, the CID agent, has been telling me of all sorts of people they have been busting lately for drug use up near Schofield.

And on another note, anybody remember this bike?

http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/mcy/807969077.html

Seems that I remember it selling for a little less than he claims though...

You know, those RSVs are beautiful, but they really took a step backwards with the current model.  They took a unique looking bike and then made it look like a now defunct RC-51.  Nowadays, it seems that more and more italian bikes are looking like Japanese bikes.
