lol  Far from saying that!  I would hate to think of the pucker factor, or battle scars that would occur from twisting that 1098S's throttle too abruptly.

that's why the best thing you can do to the new SBK is nekkify the thing!

then the scars won't matter

nekkified is the only way I would buy myself an 848. I could take it brand new, and throw away a bunch of shit.

put some proper handlebars on there and a chunky headlight...  waytogo

Fortunately Ducati is making such a machine just for you.  For the rest of us (in the vast majority) the 1098/1198/848 is a seriously beautiful machine. It's a good thing you have such good taste in wines and cars 'cause otherwise ..........  Grin

I've loved the looks of the 1098 ever since I saw the first photograph. That design is the Megan Fox of all the current superbikes/sportbikes. I think I'd rate my 750 somewhere around a Jennifer Anniston / Halle Berry.  The only issue I ever had/have with the 1098 is the relative plainness of some of the parts compared to the artwork that showed up on the 999. The tradeoff, of course, being price.

Maybe I'll hit up the Market City store.  waytogo
