Hi all , would like to know if anyone in monsterland has polished there header pipes, would like to know if it can be done by yourself or better off getting someone to do it and if there are any benifits other than looks .

I didn't exactly polish them. But I had them bead blasted (sand blasting would be better, you get a million tiny dings from the beads) to get whatever that brown coating is off, them worked them over with 3m paint stripping pads perpendicular to the line of the pipe. You get a brushed finish that looks just like the stainless pipes of your cans. Lot's of work, but worth it.
