Tell me this isn't any of you.  http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcy/1410819792.html

"M900 engine good power keeps up with bikes."  High moung exhaust.  Poetically described, but not shown in pics.

Things I would do differently, not to say they are done wrong in the ad:

Not where women's sunglasses.

Not say "keeps up with bikes" - that implies that it is slow, and 'keeps up' rather than stomps the dog shit out of other bikes, which might have been my phrasing.

Gia Co Moto Exhaust - might say its rare and stop. No need to say the manufacturer was replaced by Ducati, makes it sound inferior. Maybe quote that ad that said "the sound at idle will make you take off your pants and throw them into a tree." that kind of language sells bikes.

Here's a well done ad, and well done bike that I wish I had the cash to buy, LOADED with DP/DPM beauty parts:

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/mcy/1398341828.html

(Somebody in portland buy that 750 - its delicious looking).

In the pics the bike has low mount exhaust and if you look closely you can see a tank dent in the picture on the left.  He is using Sepia to hide things imo.

I communicated with the seller, here's some pictulation:

2002 M750 - Senna Colors (Gray w Red Wheels)

Its in Tigard/King City (Wherever that is. I'm in Dallas and have never been to Oregon, but I liked the bike, a lot, in part to the unique 'bling' and color scheme)

I've always thought the DPM stuff from back in the day went really well with the air cooled monsters because it all looks like it mimics the fins. This also has the legendary tank ding. (as does my bike, its faint but noticeable). He owns up to it though, doesn't hide it in Sepia.

Oh, great.  I post about looking at 750/800 Monsters...everyone tells me to go with a 900...and the only 900 in the nearby area is this one...that could be hiding damage via sepia photography.   Grin

Here's the local ad:
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/1408415499.html

He "shows" the aftermarket exhaust using a picture of similar exhaust on a 620.  It is strange that he only has old photos (pre-aftermarket exhaust).  How hard is it to get a digital camera (or even just a cell phone camera) to take some updated photos?

I'm not actively looking at bikes yet because until I sell my own bike, I'd just be wasting the sellers' time (which I loathe to do).  But if this is still on the market after my bike sells, I'll see what the story is in person.

DCtex - don't bother with this joker...

IF it's still available there's a very custom '99 for $200 more in NC

+1 to Yuu's statements. I mean, might be worth looking at it anyhow, the more you see the better.

Not say "keeps up with bikes"...

Heck, it implies it's not even a bike.  At least say, "Keeps up with OTHER bikes."
