s4rs crash protectors/sliders

Hi guys,

Just about to get myself the 2008 s4rs and just wondering what you guys use for sliders? Are oggy knobs the way to go?

Also, I seem to come across the frame sliders but are there protectors for the forks etc? Or are they not needed on the s4rs?

If you can point me to sites it would be appreciated!

There are several companies out there that sell frame sliders that go through the engine mount bolts as well as fork portectors and rear axel sliders. Your best bet is to do a search in the accessories and mods section.

Using R&G Aero frame sliders and front fork sliders.

.....and can confirm they work well 

I was going to get the bar ends and the rear sliders too, but the guy from the company said they would not really help in an off so didn't ... that's proper service

I have R&G frame, bar end and fork sliders on my 695 and can confirm that the frame and bar end sliders work well.  I don't seem to have touched the fork sliders (yet).  These were both very low speed getoffs (0-5 mph).

I have rizomas. They are shaped like an L bracket so if you angle them properly, part of the energy twists them, and then it drags, and if it has a lot of energy one of the arms break off.

i think its pretty neat and looks pretty non intrusive to the way the bike looks, but they are pretty costly.  $225 i think. PJs has em.

Also, I'm guessing the frame and bar end sliders will come in most handy? I don't want to have these things all over my bike...

I have T-Rex frame, front, and rear axle sliders.  Price it right and they do a pretty good job of blending into the bike.  No knowledge on how well they will work and don't plan on doing any product testing

That looks like them.  I couldn't tell you why they are so cheap.  Top quality craftmanship.  Sliders are made of Delrin.  I had to talk them into making me some thru axles to mount the axle sliders through the hollow axles.  The rear spools work really well for lifting the back of your bike up.  I ended up with their front and rear race stands also.  They also were very inexpensive and work great.

The frame sliders on t-rex's website look different from the ones pictured on psycledelic's bike.  I really like the two circumferential grooves on pycledelic's sliders.  Is this an updated design or are you using the sliders from another bike?
