Lambo doors front and rear.

How the hell does someone get into the back of this beast with Lambo rear doors?

as a general rule, i won't buy any bike that has been titled in NJ.  it's one of the states that you can do minimal work and remove a salvage/wrecked designation and in my experience i rarely see a bike in good shape coming out of jersey.  either pimped out or just rotted

If it's to good to be true...  laughingdp

http://burlington.craigslist.org/mcd/3124865023.html

I e-mailed him expressing interest and ability to pay in cash.
Sgt. Kristin Bennett replied saying it had 3000mi. and in perfect cond. and he had to sell it by 7/30 because he was leaving the country to join his platoon in Afghanistan and didn't want it to spend another winter in his backyard.  laughingdp

I replied saying this appeared to be a scam but if he was serious to give me his phone number and location so I could look at the bike in person.
Got no reply.
Not at all surprised... cheeky

Well maybe I'm making a mistake  assuming it was a dude.
The name was: Sgt. Kristin Bennett  USAF.

I don't see any reason to presume dudehood as opposed to chickdom, but there's a long tradition of names being used first for boys then co-opted for girls: Ashley, Beverly, Evelyn, Hil(l)ary, Kell(e)y, Meredith, Robin, Trac(e)y and Vivian all spring to mind.

There's a (male) Canadian actor with a show currently on US television named Kristen Holden-Ried.

That's all true, but I think it's very unusual these days.  Mr Holden-Reid probably got beat up a lot in elementary school.. :-)  Mainly due to the hyphenated name...

Maybe that's why he was a pentathlete.

Assumptions cause trouble. We start by assuming that "Sgt." or "motorcycle rider" equals male and end up assuming "Kristin" equals female. We'll never actually know.

Maybe. We can't discuss the ad, though, because it's been yanked and nobody quoted it here. That's all we've got until the next person fires up a pipe and posts an ad.

Meh, I make assumptions all the time and they don't cause too much trouble.  This morning, I assumed my wife put a new roll of TP out.

And I was wrong.

So I opened the vanity drawer to find something

and there was an old package of baby wipes

took care of bizness
