Didn't you see it says it's very rare.
From the description
"2002 Ducati 748 S , This very rare Ducati race machine was brought to the USA in small numbers . Come and see it today !"

You missed the full race kit of spares - motors, wheels & tools - and the trailer & tow vehicle that are a part of that deal.

Unfortunately, so did the seller.

I especially like the ignition on it:

Speeddog

I'm looking at the photos, and I think it's just a very poorly presented ad.

It's obviously a race/track bike, it's got no lights, and running slicks.
Those wheels don't look OEM, and the front has 16.5 written on it... so likely they're magnesium.

The photo above shows a Magneti Marelli dash.
I can't identify it specifically, but the little I could find suggested it's ~$2k unit.

Garage queens are depressing.....These bikes were meant to be ridden!! They are not going dissolve in water!

This is the opposite of the above bike

[bang]I volunteer to take that poor abused bike in, give it a home and take off all of that crap, and as time and cash allow, restore it.  Who will donate to the 77south home for wayward Italian motorcycles to help me make it happen?
