I was at a Duc/Triumph/BMW dealership the other day.

Bullshitting with the sales guy, he made a comment about how he couldn't GIVE Sport Classics away when they first came out. Now he gets a couple of requests/inquiries per month of people looking for em.

Makes the <$9k I paid for my '06 (in April of '08) seem like a pretty good investment.

Part of that was just the bad timing of the release.

Did anybody look at all the pictures of that thing? Theres paint missing off the frame, and weird looking appendages all over it.

Yeah, that thing is a freak of terblanchist proportions with none of the aesthetic sense... custom is an accurate description, well-thought-out is not.
