I looked it up the kbb value because I was curious.  In excellent condition retail value is $4615.

Yes, looks like I read it wrong. I found KBB's 'Average Expected Accumulated Mileage' chart where they have a 550-749cc bike at 12190 miles, and 750 and up at 20900. For whatever that's worth...

I have never heard of a check engine light from removing the baffles?

What do you think he means by this: "1000cc HIGHEST STANDARDS"?

Also, who would want a custom-sized helmet made for someone else?  And is the jacket supposed to read "DKNY", in which case...huh?!?!  I hope he wasn't riding in that.
